Spring is in the Air!

Spring, the season all parents with allergic kids fear most. If we all had a special protective bubble to place our kids during spring, that would surely solve the problem. Unfortunately that bubble doesn’t exist and the pressure is on for the season. With food allergies on the rise and our air so polluted, how do we protect our kids from this madness?Spring Allergies

After years of struggling with my child’s allergies, which consisted of monthly hospital visits, medical bills, confusion and desperation, I found out what works best for him. Now I am able to manage his allergies and even strengthened his immunity system enough to tolerate most of the things he couldn’t eat before.

At first I had no clue of what was happening to my son. I thought there was no cure for what he had and that the sleepless nights with the nebulizer on would never end. When I visited his doctors they just kept on prescribing stronger steroid based treatments and the diagnosis was asthma. I had no idea that his asthma episodes and eczema were a reaction to allergies. Finally, I begun observing my son to see what triggered those asthma attacks and noticed he would get uneasy after consuming certain foods and during certain months of the year. Little did I know how allergic and sensitive he was. I took him to an allergist and a simple skin test provided an answer to some allergies that he had. From there on I conducted research and through trial and error I figured this puzzle out. The best part is that most of the methods I utilized were natural and consisted of building immunity vs. depriving it with prescription drugs.

Now that the puzzle is all figured out, I’m going to share my experiences and methods utilized with everyone. Prior to applying any methods listed please keep in mind that everything I did was on my own and I’m posting it for informational purpose only. I strongly suggest to review any decision with a certified practitioner.
